During the current COVID-19 emergency we will now only be running online support groups using Zoom. We will be offering these at the usual time and using the same format. If you like to join the group please email us at bristoledgroup@yahoo.com by 12.00 noon on the day of the group and we will send you a link. In the same way that we would work in our usual group, you will need to make sure that you log in on time and do your best to be able to stay present for the whole group.
It will be important that you are able to find a space where you can be overheard and will not be interrupted. Please email for more information if required.
-ZOOM CONCERNS-
We are aware that many people might be worried about using zoom and we would like to share some of the steps we have taken to make our group run as smoothly as possible.
The Bristol Eating Disorder Peer Support Group has been running for over twenty five years. We aim to provide a space for sufferers (aged 18 years and over) and for friends/families/carers to support one another.
We offer FREE self-help groups twice a month
This will not effect the services that we offer. For more information please go to B-eat

-ZOOM CONCERNS-
We are aware that many people might be worried about using zoom and we would like to share some of the steps we have taken to make our group run as smoothly as possible.
- Every group is password protected and invitation only, meaning that it can’t be joined by anyone unless they have agreed to the ground rules first
- Use of video is optional! We know it can be distracting to have an image of yourself on screen and therefore it’s up to you whether you feel comfortable enabling video during the group or not
- We are conscious of zoom fatigue – although we are available for the full 90 minutes we always ask everyone at the beginning of each group if they would like to shorten the session.

We offer FREE self-help groups twice a month

- The fourth Tuesday of the Month for people with eating disorders only.
